Hola, amigos!

What's this? A second journal entry in the same year? Incredible. 

So, fun thing, the hubs and I have been invited by his boss to accompany them to Bolivia for a month. We'll be volunteering and visiting friends that have moved dwon there, so I'm really excited. 

Have any of you ever had experience living abroad, especially in S. America? How did you manage? Did you work remotely or find work in the country of your residence? 

Also, speaking of working remotely, I'm hoping to gain a steadyish stream of commission clients for art pieces. So if you know anyone who's looking to commission, send 'em my way  

Since that's what this is turning into, anyway.

Annual update time!

Since the last journal post, I have:

-now been married for 2.5 years
-bought a house
-acquired another cat
-launched a website for my commission info (jadefyredraws.com/portfolio)
-got a new car


And as usual, what have you all been doing?

It's already been a year since my last post, whoops.

Some updates: have been married for 8 months (as of today actually...!), looking for an apartment that will let us take in my cat from my parents, and planning a couple of trips for this summer.

So, hey. I'm getting married. I got engaged in March, and we are getting married in August. I'm really excited! I'm really the worst at keeping updated on my deviantART, leaving some comments without replies for months at a time, so you should definitely hit me up on my tumblr. Just send me an ask, let me know who you are/how I know you, and stuff.

So... yep.

I'm mostly kidding. It's been two years and a week since I last wrote a journal. Mainly because I no longer have a premium membership or whatever they call them these days, and I had a journal skin on that I didn't want to lose. But whatever, it doesn't even format properly on my new screen anyway. There have been a lot of things happening in my life these days. I moved to Victoria, BC in early February 2013. I have a boyfriend of two and a half months.

I'm also on other social media/etc. where I spend most of my time. Come get in touch with me on tumblr, add me on Steam, or request me on Skype (username: jadefyre).

Nothing else is important/new, but I'll be sorta floating around dA like I normally do every so often so talk to me.
