Doctor Who Party - Food

My Doctor Who Party Main Post

I realized after posting the above journal that I forgot one very very important party aspect - the food! And we have plans for the food, too.

So. The consumables.
A Dalek cake. We've been humming and hawing on how to do one, then Sam linked me to this: .
Fish Sticks and Custard. Okay, not real fish sticks and custard, but I did find this amazing recipe online for cookies that merely look like fish sticks: bakingdom.com/2011/08/fish-fin…
nOODles (this was my brilliant idea ). It'll be simple spaghetti, but I will get everybody to hold a ball, with spaghetti hanging out of their mouths, and we will take a group photo. They will include a tasty lava-sauce from a planet sixty million lightyears beyond the Medusa Cascade.
Bananas, because bananas are good. I like bananas. (I personally don't care a ton for them, but any Whovian knows that bananas are a good source of potassium! That, and they come in handy when pulling the ol' switcheroo with somebody's gun or sonic blaster.)
No pears. I hate pears. John Smith is a character I made up, but I won't know that. I'll think I am him, and he might do something stupid like eat a pear. In three months, I don't want to wake up in three months from being human and taste that. But I digress. We're going to have no pear signs, like no smoking signs but with pears on them.
Who-themed cupcakes. Sam has already done a trial run of them and they turned out fabulously. One has a weeping angel, on has a Dalek head, and the other has a bow.
Jelly beans. Would you like a jelly baby? Try one, they're really quite good.
Celery wrapped in purple cellophane or paper. If nothing else, they're good for your teeth.
Sonic Screwdriver (non-alcoholic of course) drinks. We'll find a recipe online.
